Hey guys and welcome back! I love makeup and trying new products as much as I can. But we all know it can be expensive, especially with brand name products. I usually get some ideas for new makeup by watching my favorite YouTubers and with a prayer and leap of faith I purchase them and try away.
Nars has always been a favorite brand that I’ve enjoyed for many years. Their highlighter for sure in Albatross was my first purchase from them and I loved it.
I started to use this foundation because sometimes foundations at the end of the day would make me feel oily. This is matte and longwear foundation that instantly dries on your face. Now be warned, if you are not used to that you have to just apply a little quicker and make sure to prime your face before and you will be fine. I know some people get intimated by foundations that dry fast after application but once this on it is on!

This concealer has been amazing so far for me too! It’s not too heavy and I usually apply it with my finger if I’m doing a more natural look or one of my Eco Brushes under the eye area and some spot that I want a little more coverage. I got the color a little more close to my natural color so when I did the “no makeup look” it wasn’t that big of a difference. If you want more of a brightening under the eye just go a shade lighter.
I got this primer as a trial size with something once, I can’t remember but I loved how it went on smoothly and made your makeup look flawless. A little does go a long way, and it helps set the tone for your foundation application. I even use it even if I’m not putting on any foundation.
Laura Mercier Oooh Laura Mercier, can I just say, that your setting powder and under-eye setting powder is genius! Now I truly understand what the fuss is about, seriously. I really had no idea what everyone was talking about until I decided to try my trusty trial size of her translucent setting powder that comes with the cutest mini face puffer EVER!
It honestly leaves your makeup looking fiercely smooth and settled for sure. As for the under-eye setting powder, it works just as nicely as the translucent powder for your face. I apply it with my beauty blender and bake for a couple of minutes and I’m all set. Not sure I’d buy the under-eye powder again because I know the regular powder would work just fine as well but I think it was still a good purchase.
This Huda Beauty eyeshadow palette caught my eye in Sephora. I loved the colors and I had been looking for a burgundy shadow so when I saw this one and all the other colors in it I purchased it right away.
The thread shimmer shadows in this palette are beautiful! They are very pigmented so a little goes along way. I was very impressed with the burgundy color and again the pigments are impressive as you don’t need a lot. Great purchase and definitely recommend it for sure!
The eyebrow dip and brush you see also is from Benefit and I’ve used this product for years and it’s never done me wrong. So this was a repurchase and it continues to be a staple in my makeup bag.
If you have anymore suggestions as to what other makeup products by NARS that YOU can’t seem to live without please leave me some recommendations in the comment section!
Thanks for stopping by and until the next time loves!
